Custom Waterjet Cutting
Our customers, at times request the ability to heat up their material before cutting to achieve easier and cleaner cuts. At Millennium Die Group, we use a water pressure cutter with applied garnet to cut an aluminum die base, an incredibly heat tolerant material. Doing so allows us to offer our customers the ability to heat up the die and your material, concurrently, with a tolerance of extreme temperatures up to 450-500 degrees. We are confident you can achieve a superior cut on your heat treated materials.
Millennium Die Group offers high tolerance capabilities. With the waterjet service we can achieve +/- .002 in which is closer than a steel rule die (SRD) reaching tolerances of +/- .01 in, which is standard in the industry. We can alter the specifications of any water jet job within a short period of time with our top of the line CAD software run water jet machines. Because these machines do not have a fixed mold involved in the cutting process, we can be as flexible as your specifications evolve and have no trouble fine tuning on the fly to meet your custom project demands.
